Hello East Derry Families!
January has flown by, and when we return to school on Monday, it will already be February 3rd! This month has been filled with fun and learning, both during the school day and in after-school activities. Mrs. Friedrich’s Yoga Club has been so popular that she will be running a second session. Weather permitting, Ski Club has one week left, and a big thank you goes to Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Cogan for braving the cold. Students truly enjoyed the anti-bullying performance generously sponsored by our PTA. The PALS program, led by Ms. Bennett and Mr. Noyes, ran seamlessly once again this month. We’ve made every effort to get outside for recess, and it’s been wonderful to see the joy on students' faces as they "sled" down the hill and build snowmen. Today marked our final ED CARES assembly—shoutout to all grade levels for their amazing performances!

~Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year is open. Please note that registration is on a first-come, first-served basis at each school. Please do not delay your registration, as we utilize an “overflow” process for Kindergarten. Classes at our school may become full based on the School Board’s recommended class size of 18 students per class. In this case, your child will be assigned to a different elementary school that has openings in Kindergarten.
~Please consider joining the fun tonight as our PTA is hosting a Glow Dance Party, 6:30pm-8:00pm.
~Please remind your children to dress in layers as we do try to get out each day for recess. The rule of thumb is the "feels like" temperature is 20 degrees or above.
~February 1st is the School District's Deliberative Session. It begins at 10:00 and is in the West Running Brook Intermediate School gym.
~The next PTA Meeting is Monday, February 3rd, at 6:30 pm. Please consider joining us in our school library.
~There is an Early Release Day on February 11th. Dismissal begins at 12:50.
~No school February 24-28 for our Winter Recess.
