Hello Gilbert H. Hood Families,

As we start Trimester 3, we are looking forward to a busy, productive few months.  Please join us in supporting our students as they finish the school year strong, keeping them focused on successful learning goals and positive community behavior.  Together, we can do amazing things!

Here are a couple items to share for the upcoming weeks:

Report Cards - March 24

Trimester 2 Learning Reports will be available on Monday, March 24. An email will be sent in the afternoon when the reports are released.

Annual NH State Assessments - April

Students at GHHMS will be taking the NHSAS tests (state testing) on the following dates:

  • April 3 - Grade 8 only - Science

  • April 8 - Grades 7 & 8 - Reading

  • April 11 - Grades 7 & 8 - Writing

  • April 16 - Grades 7 & 8- Math

We understand illness and other circumstances happen, but it is important to have as many students as possible attend school, on time, on testing days.  If students are absent on testing days, they will be pulled from class at a later date to make-up the tests they missed.

We also ask that students have their computers charged and ready to use on testing days to make it easier for them to get started on time.
