Hello Gilbert H. Hood Families,
We are in the homestretch of the NH state assessments. The math assessment is scheduled for Wednesday, and we will be working on make up sessions. We continue to thank our families for their continued support and encouragement.
Here are a couple items to share for the upcoming weeks:
Message from the GHH PTSA
We are looking for someone to fulfill the role of PTA Treasurer for the upcoming school year. This organization plays an important role is our school community, and we rely on these amazing, dedicated volunteers. Please consider stepping forward to help us do great things together. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact the school office.
Lost and Found
A growing, unmanageable “Lost & Found” collection is located in the front hallway across from the office. Over time it has become one huge messy pile of sweatshirts, jackets, and other items. If your child(ren) is missing such things, please encourage them to check the “Lost & Found” before Friday, April 25. Any unclaimed items will be donated to local organizations over the upcoming school break.
Food Drive - April
Our district’s Spring food drive for “End 68 Hours of Hunger ”. Snacks, as well as other items, are needed. (Please no glass containers.) Donations are being collected in each team area April 1 through April 22. The team that collects the most donations will receive a special Kona Ice visit!
NH PTA Reflections Exhibit
You are invited to attend the NH PTA Reflections Exhibit on Wednesday, May 21, at Gilbert H. Hood MIddle School. The exhibit viewing is scheduled 5:30 to 6:15 pm, with award presentations 6:15-7:30.
