Dear WRB Families:
We are one week away from the opening of West Running Brook Intermediate School! We look forward to seeing everyone at next Monday’s open house. Please see the below details as we approach the opening of the 2024-2025 school year.
We invite all students to our open house on Monday, August 26. We will once again stagger times based on grade levels to minimize crowding as much as possible and to accommodate for parking. Please feel free to park at Derry Village School and walk up the hill.
Fifth Graders: 10:30-11:15
Sixth Graders: 11:30-12:15
The first day of school for all WRB students is Tuesday, August 27. School begins at 7:20AM. Dismissal begins at 1:55PM.
If you haven’t done so already, please sign up/update PickUp Patrol. You should have received an invitation to update your plans. This ensures a smooth dismissal on the first day of school.
Bus routes are available on the SAU website, https://www.sau10.nh.gov/. The bus numbers on these lists are accurate, so please use those to update PickUp Patrol.
Supply Lists: School supply lists are posted on our webpage, www.sau10.nh.gov/schools/wrb under the “Families” drop down menu.
Please consider joining our PTSA! the first PTSA meeting is Tuesday, September 10 at 6:30PM in the WRB library.
PTSA is providing staff with a breakfast this Friday and is looking for donations. See HERE if you’d like to donate.

Breakfast is still FREE for Free and Reduced students.
Lunch is $3.20 for Paid Intermediate and Middle School
Lunch is .40 for Reduced students (all schools)
Lunch is FREE for Free students (all schools).

ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL
Please do not arrive at WRB until 7:10. This allows WRB Staff to enter the parking lot in time for morning duties and avoids any blocking of the bus lanes. We will begin unloading at 7:20.
We encourage all students to use bus transportation, but if you plan to drop off your child, please circle around the right side of the building in two lanes and look for instructions from staff. Car pick up will follow the same path as drop off, with two lanes forming around the right side of the building. Your patience in the first weeks of school during dismissal and arrival is appreciated!
We ask that people meeting walkers at dismissal wait near the crosswalk on the far side of the front parking lot. Please don’t park and wait for students to exit the building.
We look forward to seeing you at next week’s open house! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!
Sincerely,
Bill Fox
