WRB News, 1/24/25

January 24, 2025

Dear West Running Brook Families:

Despite the bitter cold, it was an exciting week at WRB. On Tuesday “Corey the Dribbler” visited WRB, presenting his message of respect and kindness while showing off his amazing basketball skills. Thank you to the PTSA for providing this great opportunity for our students.

Our first ever full band concert was held at WRB last night. The performance was simply amazing. Our students showed amazing professionalism and musicianship throughout the performance. Thank you to the staff who participated in the concert and volunteered. A huge thank you to Ms. Saranita for her work! We are so proud of our band students!

Reminder: Students have outdoor recess if the “feels like” temperature is 20 degrees or higher. We are seeing many students without coats, hats, etc. Please remind your children to bring appropriate outerwear to WRB. Thank you!

Snack Bar

We are noticing many students buying snacks for other students from our snack bar. Although we love the generosity, we would like to remind everyone that students should not buy snacks for other students during school hours.
