Strategic Plan

The Derry Cooperative School District is in the process of seeking a qualified provider to develop a multi-year strategic plan to guide the District’s future.  This process began in the spring of 2023 when the Derry Cooperative School Board voted to move forward to seek a vendor to assist with this initiative. An RFP was posted on November 15, 2023 and closed on December 1, 2023. 

The District’s goal is to develop a comprehensive, dynamic plan that includes academic programs, parent and community partnerships, system accountability for meeting the academic needs of all students, human resources, and business operations to support teaching and learning.

The district wishes to make improvements that will best and fully support the District’s mission to inspire students to be lifelong learners. As a community, we are committed to providing a safe, challenging environment that encourages all students to aspire to excellence. Through this engagement, the provider will gather information from many sources, including facilitating and supporting information gathering from stakeholders as well as assessing data on the performance of the District and collecting information on education best practices, exemplar schools, and education innovation. Together, the information is expected to form a comprehensive, honest, and clear picture of the current state of the District and highlight strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks. As such, the Applicant must evaluate the people, processes, and tools that come together to create a successful education system. These items will be documented in a strategic plan to advance the District into the future.
